Business Development Director, Payer Partnerships

We are looking for an experienced, and highly passionate team member to build innovative relationships with payor and employer partners. This role will be responsible for developing new relationships and implementing innovative solutions with payor partners that improve access to wellness program networks for plan members with prediabetes and diabetes. The ideal candidate is someone with industry experience who is seeking an opportunity to apply that knowledge in a fast-paced, rapidly growing business environment.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and build strong relationships with existing and new payor partners. 

  • Drive all business development activities with prospective payors from start to finish including but not limited to; prospecting, product demonstrations, RFP/proposal development, and contract execution, all while ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Deliver effective and comprehensive product presentations and demonstrations of our wellness programs and convey how the solutions align with the payor’s larger population health strategy.

  • Understand the competitive landscape and position our value proposition accordingly to win and enable the team to do the same.

 

Experience:

  • 5+ years of business development efforts from end-to-end, ideally working with health plans.

  • Knowledge of the payor landscape, payor business models, contracting, and operating within payor organizations.

  • A relationship builder with the ability to forge meaningful bonds and collaborative relationships with our referral, delivery, and payor partners.

  • Skilled delivery of engaging, compelling sales and product presentations, in small and large in-person and online group settings.

  • Ability to thrive in a startup environment and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.

  • A savvy understanding of the economics of the modern-day healthcare ecosystem.

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or a related discipline.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Grants Administrator (Manage a 5-year CDC-funded project)

HabitNu is a fast-growing CDC-recognized organization focused on diabetes prevention and helps healthcare providers scale the reach of prevention and management of chronic disease conditions.

HabitNu is seeking a Grants Administrator who will be responsible for overseeing and managing the overall administration of a federally funded 5-year project from initiation to completion. The Grants Administrator will be responsible for the grant management process, ensuring compliance with funding requirements, and assisting with grant reporting. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for public health.

Grant Management: Coordinate the grant management process, including preparing, reviewing, and ensuring all required documentation is submitted.

Grant Compliance: Monitor the grant performance and compliance with funding requirements. Ensure that funded projects are aligned with the organization's mission and goals. Track grant expenditures and report on budget utilization.

Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular project status reports, presentations, and documentation for various stakeholders, including senior management.

Project Monitoring and Control: Monitor project progress, identify deviations from the plan, and take corrective actions as necessary to keep the project on track. Prepare regular reports on grant activity, outcomes, and impact. Maintain accurate records of grant-related documents and correspondence.

Communication: Serve as a point of contact for subcontractors, answering questions and providing guidance as needed. Collaborate with team members to communicate grant-related updates and information.

Lessons Learned: Conduct project post-mortems to evaluate project success, identify areas for improvement, and capture lessons learned for future projects.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Nonprofit Management, etc.).

  • Previous experience in federal grant administration, grant reporting, and program management is required.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in software skills needed for project management is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Passion for public health and a commitment to improving community health outcomes.

Lifestyle Coaches: (Part-time)

We are in need of a Lifestyle Coach who speaks English fluently to support an innovative diabetes lifestyle change program that raises diabetes awareness and offers diabetes risk reduction education.

We work with participants in a group setting in-person and online to teach individuals how to improve their diet, integrate physical activity into their lifestyle to improve the management of their type 2 diabetes, and reduce their risk for developing prediabetes and type 2 diabetes.

The role of the lifestyle coach is to ensure that each participant learns to implement the principles and tools of the program in a safe and supportive format.

Minimum qualifications for consideration:

  • Must be fluent in the English language

  • Must be authorized to work in the US

  • Must hold a technical school or bachelors degree or higher

  • Must be able to commit to a weekly schedule for 12 consecutive weeks

Ideal candidates for this role:

● Holds a certificate in Lifestyle Coaching

● Are compassionate

● Have experience in the field of dietetics, nutrition, and nursing

● Have experience working in a group setting

● Understand the principles of motivational interviewing

● Self-driven

Your role

You will be leading teams in a group setting. During your role, you will be responsible for:

● Helping participants become familiar with the Project Power app

● Monitor participant progress from an online platfrom

● Encourage participants to track meals, weigh themselves, and track their physical activity.

● Leading weekly meetings that follow the Project Power-specific curriculum

● Moderating online conversations including posting conversations starters, responding to all participant comments

● Communicate one-on-one with participants between meetings, to ensure they are on track to meet their program goals.

● Helping participants achieve program-specific benchmarks during their time in the program

As a Client Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our current and prospective clients. Your main duties will include:

  • Developing key customer stakeholder relationships and drive customer satisfaction at assigned accounts.

  • Identifying new business development opportunities and actively pursuing them.

  • Managing and growing existing client accounts.
